Nancy L Davison, PT, MPT
Nancy Davison became an associate at Ascent Physical Therapy in February of 2011. Before joining us, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA in 1993. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 1997. While living in Iowa and Wisconsin, Nancy worked in various physical therapy settings including acute care/trauma center, skilled nursing facilities, aquatic therapy, as well as outpatient clinics. She moved to Carson City with her family in 2004 and began focusing on outpatient orthopedics.
Nancy became a supporting member of our practice in 2011 with an ongoing commitment to her continuing education and desire to stay current with todays latest research developments and treatment techniques. Some of her past post graduate education has been in the fields of manual therapy, women’s health, dynamic stabilization and motor control training, and neurodynamic mobilization. Nancy also serves as a team physical therapist for the Western Nevada College athletic program and is an active member of the community serving as a volunteer with different non-profit organizations within Carson.
When she has free time, she enjoys running, hiking, biking, and other outdoor family activities that living in the eastern Sierra’s provides.
